Self Adjusting File for Endodontic Root Canal Treatment
It has been proven that using current rotrary NiTi technology to clean & shape root canals delivers less than desirable results.
Dental root canals commonly present irregular anatomy in cross-section.
As recent studies show, attemping to clean them with a rotating round instrumet results in less than 50% of the root canal inner surface actualy affected by the operation.

A file that consists of a metal lattice hollow cylinder constructed from medical grade nickel-titanium-alloy. This structure permits compression when inserted into a root canal and allows the file to adjust to any canal cross-section in 3D.
While removing dentin, the SAF gradually expands to enable the preparation of the canal in the same manner as achieved by sequentially increasing the size of a motorized file.
The open lattice structure of the device design permits effective continuous irrigation of disinfectants during the procedure without increasing intracanal pressure.
