TGE patented Gasification technology, simple and cost effective sustainable solution, is based on a specially designed reactor, which transforms the municipal waste it receives into a combustible synthesis gas (Syngas) and inert ashes. The gas generated can be converted into useful green electricity, thermal power or synthetic biofuels. Technology design includes proprietary software, specifically conceived to automatically control, operate and optimize the entire reaction and waste flow process.
TGE technology offers the following benefits:
-
Protection of the quality of the environment
Cleaner exhaust gases, meets stringent International Environmental Standards
-
Suitable for all the municipal waste components
-
Modularity
Ability to treat small, medium and large scales of waste by standard modules.
-
The cost of treating waste is lower (even than other waste Gasification technologies).
-
Innovation
The facility's innovation mainly consist in design and structure of the reactor,
which will enable the correct compound of the gases to be obtained and the efficient and economic use of the byproducts
TGE intends establishing partnerships with regional waste management operators and/or investors to implement its technology on their facilities and earn revenues through selling equipments and/or waste treatment services, energy and carbon credits (BOT contracts).
Funding:
Seeking: $5.0M
Use of Proceeds:
-
Build, test and demonstrate the system in Israel, Europe, USA environment, with typical MSW in continuous operation mode.
-
Validate that all environmental requirements are fully met.
-
Provide all the information required to expand to other sites
Revenue Forecast:
2012: $1M
2013: $10
2016: $100M
Reach profitability:

Today waste is potentially a resource, and it is the first crisis where the environment is considered as a solution, not as a problem.
The planet produced between 1,7 in 1,9 billion tons of municipal waste. A year and per capita, the municipal waste is about 760 kg in the United States
The destination of most of this waste are landfills which capacities are increasingly limited, leading to higher investments and logistics costs. In some European countries , new landfills are already prohibited. On the other hand the demand for green energy is raising quickly and encouraged by the governments worldwide.
Over the last twenty years the market for thermal waste conversion has been exclusively the domain of incineration. Since last years interest in pyrolysis, gasification and other non conventional thermal treatment technologies has grown enormously. The negative image of incineration is still the most important driver behind this interest.
TGE has developed a disruptive technology that will be compelling to players in the waste management sector to purchase its equipments that will help them to enhance their profits and address all their environment concerns at a lower cost than with any alternative system.
TGE has a patented Gasification technology, based on a specially designed reactor and control software, which transforms the municipal waste it receives into a combustible synthesis gas (CO,H2) and inert ashes. The technology is a cleaner, more simple and more cost effective sustainable solution than any other alternative for waste treatment and energy recovery from waste.

A method and apparatus for the treatment of domestic waste.
A semi-industrial pilot module with a 10 tons per day waste treatment capacity was installed in the largest landfill and waste disposal transfer site in the country (3000t/day) at “Hiryia”, S-East of Tel Aviv, for further testing with waste originating from the surrounding Dan area cities. Since 2005, the tests and operations were conducted within the framework of a signed contract with Hiryia which purpose is to treat in the next stage 200 tons/day and finally 700 tons/day of municipal waste.
