A leading early stage investment group and technology incubator, Maayan Ventures specializes in building value. We leverage the innovative technology of outstanding entrepreneurs by capitalizing on our team’s vast management experience and strategic business connections.
Maayan Ventures was established in 1990 and privatized in 2003. In 2005, Maayan Ventures became the first incubator to be publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). In July 2006 Maayan, in partnership with Rotem Industries, expanded its outreach and investment platform by acquiring the ATC incubator in Dimona – now called Rotem Ventures. In December of 2006, Maayan also purchased the Am-Shav Incubator in Sde-Boker – now called Iris Ventures.
The combination of the 3 incubators has turned Maayan Ventures into the largest incubator in Israel and provides the portfolio companies with unparalleled financial strengths and strategic connections.
Led by a group of renowned business investors, Maayan Ventures specializes in establishing, branding and marketing new technological innovations. Through Maayan's close relations with Infinity Equity, we are able to assist our portfolio companies in entering the Chinese market. Infinity has direct and unparalleled access to the Chinese market and can assist companies in performing this quickly and efficiently.
By joining Maayan Ventures, technology start-ups benefit from financial investment, business tools, and support services essential for their ventures’ success. Working in cooperation with the Office of the Chief Scientist within Israel’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, Maayan Ventures invests during the entry stage, providing start-ups with a rarified security that comes from knowing that the support will be there when they need it the most. Maayan Ventures also has the financial resources to reinvest in its portfolio companies during future rounds.
Maayan also aims to attract promising entrepreneurs and start-ups to the Negev region. Maayan is located in the heart of Israel's Negev desert strengthening the area and as a leading financial force, Maayan wishes to "fertilize" the desert. Our vision is that the Negev will become economically attractive for industry, investments and draw high-profile residents.
