ProWell Technologies Ltd. develops, produces and markets its patented AirShock™ technology for a range of industries. Target markets are water and oil wells and other heavy industries.
The Problem
Industrial cleaning including water, oil wells, pipe systems and silos, tend to be laborious, dangerous, and environmentally un-friendly due to excessive amounts of chemicals used. ProWell’s AirShock™ technology is fast, effective and environmentally friendly solution which has been proven in several applications and industries.
Market Potential
Worldwide there are tens of millions of water and oil wells which require maintenance, stimulation and rehabilitation. There are tens of thousands of contractors that provide rehabilitation services and are the target market. In North America the water well market is fragmented with a few hundred larger players, while in other countries it tends to be driven by large companies. Oil and heavy industry tend to be less fragmented market.
Products
AirShock™ is a product line which includes a range of AirShock Impulse Generators (AIG) and related equipment. The environment-friendly AirShock™ technology creates high-pressure gas impulses using the AIG devices. These impulses release the compressed gas at regular intervals of seconds, providing high, focused energy for the cleaning process.
Competition
Other technologies such as chemicals, mechanical scraping, and low-pressure gas devices. Fraizer Company, another high-pressure gas device company sued ProWell in 2004 for patent infringement. After 3 years, ProWell prevailed and Fraizer’s patent was revoked. ProWell is currently the only company with valid patented technology of its type.
