ReadEasy creates value for customers by improving their reading experience. Specifically, we will help our users comprehend and understand the text they are reading faster and better.
How exactly do we achieve that?
ReadEasy is a service and infrastructure that supply contextually correct definitions to words, phrases and acronyms, according to the knowledge level of the user in the desired text and language. Furthermore, the definitions (“Readlets”) are intelligently embedded within the text the user wishes to read. We support all current popular ebook formats and we integrate easily with any ebook device.
The Team
CEO and Founder: Mr. Uri Avissar
After spending close to 12 yrs in senior technology and operations management positions with various companies- Ness Technologies, Qpay, RayV to name a few, and after founding MtaGlossary LLC a unique NLP search engine, Mr. Avissar founded ReadEasy in collaboration with Prof. Ari Rappoport from the Hebrew University.
Mr. Avissar graduated Cum Laude from Columbia University, NYC with a BSc in Computer Science and a BA in Economics.
CTO: Mr. Israel Ben Tal
A seasoned Java and computer technologies expert, Mr. Ben Tal joined ReadEasy after spending 5 yrs with Alpha CSP, the leading Java development company in Israel.
Mr. Ben Tal holds a BSc in Information Systems and MSc in Computational Linguistics from the University of Kharkov.
Senior Developer: Mr. Iddo Levin
A web technologies and Java master, Mr. Levin spent the last several years with various startups, notably RayV and Tripi (a leading Israeli travel information site), which he co-founded as well.
