The Process - Maayan Ventures invests following a quick yet thorough technological and business evaluation process. The usual process is as follows:
- Initial contact and application submission.
- Maayan Ventures will review your application, if you meet our criteria, you’ll be invited to present your venture.
- After your presentation we will conduct an in-house due diligence process. This includes a patent search, a technology and market feasibility study, and legal and financial inquiries.
- If you pass this stage, you will be asked to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which outlines investment conditions.
- After signing the MOU, you will be invited to appear before our Investment Committee.
- If the project is approved by our Investment Committee, we apply together to the OCS.
- The OCS will conduct its own Due Diligence process.
- If the OCS Steering Committee approves, you will become a Maayan Ventures portfolio company.
Criteria - to become a Maayan ventures portfolio company you must:
- Be an early stage venture (pre-seed).
- Be committed, motivated, and knowledgeable in your project’s field of activity.
- Have a technology with broad commercial application that addresses a large and growing market, as well as a demonstrably strong market need.
- Have a technology that is innovative, inventive and capable of being patented.
- Have the capacity and ability to reach significant milestones within the period of two years.
- Be eligible for the OCS incubator program.
