Surgix

The Company
Surgix develops the world’s first computer assisted surgery (C.A.S) solution, suitable for the time and accuracy sensitive environment of orthopedic trauma surgery, “surgery GPS”; Potential benefits, compared to conventional surgery, are dramatic: Improving accuracy and reducing very common complications, saving time and improving the OR economics, and enhancing surgeon safety by reducing X-Ray radiation exposure.
Surgix brings a compelling value proposition to the various levels of hospitals – clinical benefits to the surgeons, coupled by economic advantages to the hospital administration, and an ‘easy to digest’ business model for hospitals, industry and distribution partners.

Market Potential
Surgix suits an increasingly broad range of orthopedic surgery indications including high volume procedures such as hip fractures, long bone fractures, knee reconstruction surgery, and spine fixation (estimated 4.8 Million procedures/year, worldwide). Total addressable market is estimated at $1.8-2.5 Billion/year.
